FAQs About Visiting First Christian

  • What time are your services?

We meet on Sundays in person and online at 9:15am and 10:45am. Our 9:15 service is a traditional worship service. We offer Sunday School for all ages, including adults, at this service. Our 10:45 is more contemporary, with Nursery, Wee Worship, Kids Church, and an adult Sunday School class available at this service.

  • Do you have services for kids and youth?

Yes! Kids and youth are centered in our community. We have a self-service nursery open at the 9:15 service. At our 10:45 service a full service nursery available. Wee Worship is available for kids three years old until kindergarten. Kids Church is in our Family Life Center for kids in first grade through sixth grade.

  • How long do services typically last?

Our worship services typically last for about 60 minutes. 20 minutes of singing and worship is followed by a sermon and spiritual practice. Please stay after service to linger a little longer. We would love to get to know you.

  • What should I wear?

On Sunday morning, you will see people dressed in a wide range of attire from jeans to dress clothes. We want everyone to feel at home.

  • Is your church accessible?

We have made sure that our building is accessible for people of all different abilities. We have a lift available for wheelchairs, a chair lift to access our fellowship hall. We also have hearing assist devices if you need help hearing the service.

  • Can I watch services online if I can’t attend in person?

Absolutely! If for any reason you can’t make our in-person service, you can always watch it live or watch it back here on our YouTube channel.
